I left private practice a decade ago after tiring of the boy’s club culture and the lack of life/work balance. Sadly, it doesn’t seem like things have improved much in the last 10 years!
It would be interesting to interview some mid-career female solicitors and find out their perceptions of their career prospects & plans. I wonder if the LIV would be interested?
